Pi Phi Easter Egg Hunt

The SMU Pi Beta Phi alumni organization puts on holiday celebrations for the women and their children. They do trick-or-treat, visits with Santa, Valentine’s Day cookie making, you name it, they do it! These events are a fun chance for the alumni to Imagecome together and visit while their children are entertained as well. Current in-house members of the chapter can volunteer to help out with these events. It’s so much fun to watch the children meet their new best friends for the day and elder Pi Phi’s women reconnect. The easter egg hunt was at a local church in University Park, close by SMU’s campus. We helped set-up the hunt by stuffing and hiding the eggs around the playground. The best part, however, was definitely the live petting zoo! The 20-something-year-old active Pi Phi’s immediately turned into 4-year-old versions of themselves, intrigued with every move of the baby pigs and goats, with the occasional selfie of course!
